Biographical Information

Dr. Wang's research focuses on light-matter interaction at nanoscale with research topics in the optical spectroscopy and processing of wide-band-gap semiconductor nanostructures, wide-band-gap semiconductor optoelectronic devices and colloidal photonic crystal structures.

He is a member of Materials Research Society (MRS). In 2006, he was honored with Dean's Research Awards from the College of Sciences and Mathematics of Auburn University. He currently serves as a referee for the Journal of Physics D: Applied Physics.
