I am a professor in the Physics Department
at Furman University, where I teach courses
in physics and astronomy, and manage the Timmons Planetarium in the new Townes
Science Center.
When I'm not teaching, I collaborate with astronomers from UNC-Asheville
to develop a two-element interferometer, the Dedicated Interferometer
for Rapid Variability (DIRV), at the PARI
site using their 26-m telescopes at 2.2 and 8.4 GHz.
