Computer Laboratory
The Physics Department’s Computer Laboratory was made
possible by a grant from the Kresge-Furman Science Initiative.
Students use the facility to perform complex mathematical
computations usually found in upper-level physics courses,
such as Classical Mechanics and Quantum Mechanics. During
the academic year, the Computer Lab is a focal point for
student activity. During the summer months, the computers
are used for research projects.
